Vehicles
SCR Performance works on a wide variety of different vehicles, from European, to Japanese, to American, and on all types of cars from 100% factory stock to purebred performance cars. Select your vehicle below for a small sample of what we can do for you and your street performance.
Audi
Audi’s four rings are the vehicles upon which SCR Performance was founded, and upon which we built our initial reputation. These outstanding German masterworks remain a central role in the products and services that we offer at SCR Performance.
BMW
BMW truly builds the quintissential Ultimate Driving Machines, and so it’s no wonder that so many of them find their way into enthusiast’s hands. BMW’s factor very strongly among SCR’s customer base these days, with stock, street performance, Street Touring, Spec M3, and full-out GT-2 race cars among those in our curriculum vitae.
Ford/Shelby
Our service manager started out as a factory trained Ford technician, and also underwent ongoing training over his 5 years with Ford. Along the way, he became a big fan of Ford, especially the SVT and Shelby models. More than a few 500+ hp Mustangs have rolled out of our shop after Peter’s worked his magic. It’s hard to deny the sound of a big American V8, especially once we’re through with them!
GM
As the company who produces arguably the best small block V8 in production today, the legendary LS series of engines, there are plenty of vehicles from The General that find their way to our door. In addition to GTO’s, G8’s, and Camaros, the car we’re most proud to be associated with is a C5 Corvette simply known as “The Big Stick”, which has finished in the top 5 cars in SCCA competition for several years running.
Lotus
Lotus arrived back in the American market with a big splash when it reintroduced the Elise, and its cars have continued to be big favorites among lovers of flyweight cars with tremendous handling. Our favorite thing to do with the Lotus is to address its relatively limited horsepower with supercharger and turbocharger kits, which turn these vehicles into something truly special.
MINI
This little car from Munich has found a large following of enthusiasts who love the fun and feel of a fast, solid, pocket-rocket car. As with everything else, we have done mild to wild, our most advanced car being a 2003 Cooper S that will be making the climb up Pike’s Peak this year at the famed annual hillclimb.
Mitsubishi/DSM
Just as older generations had the Mustang and the Camaro, today’s generation has the Mitsubishi EVO as the darling of the performance aftermarket. For SCR Performance it is no different – in fact, one of our techs competes in SCCA Street Modified in a highly developed EVO. We are experts in the EVO’s older siblings as well, the DSM’s from the 90’s – Eclipse, Talon, Laser, 3000GT and Stealth. Our service manager competes in SCCA Rallycross in a Eagle Talon, placing third in class last year at the national championships.
Nissan
Nissan’s profile has been increasing lately among enthusiasts, with the advent of the 350Z and 370Z, and now the astonishing GT-R. These track-capable cars are being seen more and more on the racetracks of Colorado, and in our shop as well. Hearking back to the days of the 90’s Japanese supercars, one of our longest projects was the restoration of a 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo that ultimately put down just under 500hp, and was driven daily by its owner.
Porsche
No marque is more associated with motor racing than Porsche – their heritage is built into every car that leaves the factory. We have a wide variety of parts that enrich the porsche owner’s experience, whether the goal is pure enjoyment on the street, or the intensity of a session out at the racetrack.
Subaru
After finally answering the cries of enthusiasts in the USA, Subaru has come to the fore as another favorite of the aftermarket, as these attainable, high-performing rally cars for the road have finally arrived. Among the cars our techs own are two high performance Subarus, including some very nicely modified Forester XT’s. We can definitely handle what you’re looking for with your Scooby.
